- Our Story
Built from inside the HR function, not around it
Aviyas Consulting was founded on a frustration familiar to anyone who has led a people function: most HR advice arrives as a document, and documents do not change behaviour. Our founding team had spent years inside operating businesses — running recruitment during hiring freezes, managing restructures, sitting across the table in difficult conversations — and knew the gap between a good recommendation and a workable one.
So we built a firm around closing that gap. We take on engagements the way an internal HR leader would: understand the business first, deal with the immediate risk, then build something that holds. Our consultants hold CPHR designations and bring direct operating experience across healthcare, technology, manufacturing, education, professional services and the non-profit sector.
Today we support organizations from twelve-person owner-led companies to five-hundred-person national employers. Some engage us for a single project — a compliance review, a compensation benchmark, a leadership program. Others keep us on retainer as their outsourced HR department.
What stays constant is the approach: senior people on every file, plain language in every deliverable, and honest advice even when it is not the advice you were hoping to hear. If a project is not the right use of your budget, we will tell you.
